We can customize a recurring site visit program, offer Brown Bag Lunch and Learn seminars (see more information below), or provide a one-time event for your staff (i.e. employee appreciation day), providing professional, experienced acupuncturists and massage therapists. These programs can be developed as company sponsored or self pay amenities.Offering a worksite wellness program has been shown to reduce medical costs and reduce missed time at work providing greater productivity and enhanced morale. Please contact Stephanie at (301) 370-4227 for program customization and schedule of fees.
Brown Bag Lunch and Learn
The Brown Bag Lunch and Learn program enables us to bring wellness to you and your employees. These events are interactive, educational talks lasting 30-45 minutes, designed to provide tips and ways to improve overall health and wellness. We also customize topics to meet the needs of your employees. Please contact Stephanie at (301) 370-4227 for program customization and schedule of fees.- Seasonal Relief for Allergies, Cold and Flu
Learn effective ways you can use pressure points to relieve sinus congestion, temporal pressure, and sinus headaches while boosting your immunity. These points will provide relief from common complaints of seasonal aliments while helping to clear toxins from the body. - Incorporating Daily Breath Work
Breathing and meditation techniques are proven to reduce stress, increase concentration, and improve overall health and productivity. It is not necessary to cultivate a 30 minute daily meditation. A simple, 5 minute daily mediation during work to focus on deep breathing can have profound affects on your well-being and health. Learn easy breath techniques and the benefits of deep breathing. - Fight Work Fatigue with Massage
Sitting at a desk all day on the computer, writing, and/or on the phone likely create improper body mechanics that contribute to chronic pain, aches, knots, and repetitive injuries. Learn easy, self massage techniques and stretches you can do at your desk or during short breaks. - Overall Stress Management
Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Research shows that stress is directly related to a host of health issues ranging from heart disease, high blood pressure, migraines and other chronic conditions. Overtime stress wrecks havoc on the body's immune system, taxing response time and the body's ability to fight off infections and colds. This seminar includes strategies from all of our programs including pressure points, breathing, and massage.
